Courthouse Turkey

Yes, there was plenty of activity at the federal courthouse in St. Paul today.

Tom Petters was sentenced to 50 years in prison. There were dozens of media-types surrounding the place.

Many people walking past the south side of the building noticed something else. Shortly after the courthouse remodeling has been completed, today people walking down the street some more work being done.

There was also a turkey which had a bad day. Yes a turkey. Courthouse guards tell us a second floor courthouse window was smashed early today ,when a rather large turkey slammed into it.

No word on how the turkey is doing, but as news crews left the courthouse, building staff were replacing the large window.
