Now you can recycle it--without the candles, of course--at one of Ramsey County's seven yard waste collection sites.

Street Sweeping Underway in St. Paul

An abundance of color fills many St. Paul neighborhoods right now but a lot of that color is being swept away. Annual street sweeping is underway in the city of St. Paul right now. It will go until November 23rd. Be sure to watch out for "No Parking" signs. The street sweepers will pick-up sand, dirt and leaves.

Fall Leaf Dropoff in Ramsey County Underway

Plenty of leaves have already fallen...and Ramsey County's collection sites are open to residents who want to dispose of them.

Collection sites in Arden Hills, Midway, White Bear Township, Battle Creek, Mounds View and Summit Hill all accept leaves, grass clippings and non-woody plants for composting.

Time to Trim Trees: Emerald Ash Borer Hibernates

If you have an ash tree in your yard now is the perfect time to trim it up or take it down.

The emerald ash borer, a beetle that attacks and kills ash trees, is hibernating until spring.

The beetle is inactive between Labor Day and May 1st most years, but since this year has been unusually warm, it was active through September.

St. Paul Street Sweeping to Begin

Time to wash away the dirt and grime of winter! 

Street sweeping is set to begin in St. Paul on April 25th.  City officials are warning residents to watch for the "No Parking" signs and avoid a ticket.
