Free Admission Day at the Minnesota History Center

In conjunction with Smithsonian Museum Day, the Minnesota History Center is offering free admission to all visitors on Saturday, September 25th. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Getting Students Ready for their Careers

There's an event to get people ready for their careers in downtown St. Paul. This week the "From Backpack to Briefcase" event will get students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds ready for career success in the insurance and financial services industry.

Watching TV at the State Fair?

Yes! Fairgoers are actually screening the new ABC show, "No Ordinary Family", coming this fall on Tuesday nights, starting September 28th, at 7 pm.

They then fill out a questinoairre rating the series, storyline, and characters.

They get a head-up on what's coming to ABC and leave with a pretty cool t-shirt.

"Ballet Tuesdays" Return This Fall

Landmark Center and the Saint Paul City Ballet are partnering to present a series of free ballet performances over the next several months.

"Ballet Tuesdays" will be held on the second Tuesday of the month from Sept. 14 to May 10.

Minnesota State Fair To Offer New Eco-Friendly, Demonstrative Exhibits

Ahead of the August 26th start date, the Minnesota State Fair has announced dozens of new attractions, rides and exhibits for the 2010 event that runs through Labor Day, many offering a focus on the environment.

Among the many new additions to this year's event, fair organizers are introducing several attractions that aim to educate fair-goers on agricultural topics and the environment.
