St. Paul Man Dies After Being Hit by Semi in Wis.

A 63-year-old St. Paul man was killed after being hit by a semi at a Wisconsin truck stop Friday.

Glenn Michael Augustine was hit at Hixton Travel Plaza while in the parking lot, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Officials say Augustine was walking away from his semi when he was hit.

Health Officials: Hepatitis C Test Needed for MN Baby Boomers

Attention baby boomers - have you been tested for hepatitis C lately?

The Minnesota Department of Health is reminding people born from 1945 through 1965 to be tested for hepatitis C. The reminder comes for national hepatitis awareness month.

Currently, about 39,000 people statewide are living with the virus.

Biologist with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources are surgically implanting transmitters into several species of fish, including carp.

The transmitters will track their movements in the Mississippi River and the St. Croix River. The project will give biologists information needed to assess the effectiveness of barriers to stop invasive Asian carp.
