School Bus Crashes into Yard in St. Paul

A school bus left the roadway and crashed into a yard around 3:30 this afternoon in St. Paul.

The crash happened near Minnehaha Avenue and Earl Street on the East Side of St. Paul. Toya Stewart Downey with St. Paul Public Schools says the bus was coming from L'etoile du Nord French Immersion School when it was involved in a crash with another car.

A West St. Paul man was arrested and charged today with identity theft and racketeering for directing a criminal enterprise.

Local Panera Bread restaurants will be raising money for injured Benilde-St. Margaret's hockey player Jack Jablonski tonight.

Customers can visit any of the 28 participating Panera’s tonight between 5-7 p.m. and mention Jack, and 10 percent of proceeds will be donated to the Jack Jablonski Fund.

St. Paul School Board Approves Teacher Contract

Teachers in the St. Paul School District officially have a contract. The school board approved the deal Tuesday night.

The two year agreement promises smaller class sizes and removes four early release days. Teachers also get a half percent cost of living increase each year.
 

Overnight Snow Leaves Side Streets Slushy

It's been a busy day for crews who are clearing the roadways, and some spots are better than others.

KSTP.com Meteorologist Patrick Hammer says about two to five inches of snow fell across the metro overnight Monday, and we could see some more snow showers again on Tuesday afternoon.
